World Travel Award™ for Hotel AMANO in Berlin
The AMANO Group is delighted to have been awarded with the World Travel Award™ as Germany's Leading Boutique Hotel for the third year in a row. As in 2020 and 2021, the group received the award for its flagship hotel in the Auguststraße in Berlin.
Berlin, 04.10.2022 - Last Saturday, the AMANO Group has again received the award as Germany's Leading Boutique Hotel 2022 from World Travel Award™. The hotel group already won the award back in 2021 and 2020.
Ariel Schiff is very pleased about the award for Hotel AMANO in Auguststraße in Berlin Mitte: "We are very proud that the World Travel Award™ for the best boutique hotel in Germany went to our Hotel AMANO for the third time in a row this year. This award is first and foremost for our staff, who are largely responsible for our success."
The World Travel Awards™ were established in 1993 to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in all major sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Today, the World Travel Awards™ brand is recognised worldwide as the ultimate seal of excellence in the industry.
Despite ongoing global challenges, wanderlust has reached unprecedented levels. This is evidenced by the annual voting figures of the World Travel Awards™ with more participants than in any other year in its 29-year history. According to the WTA, this can be seen as a vote of confidence in the travel and tourism industry. Hotel AMANO, the AMANO Group's first hotel, opened in 2009 as a flagship property in Berlin-Mitte. 164 rooms, three full-service suite variantoptions, warm earth tones, gold, dark wood and velvet. It has shaped the AMANO Group with everything it stands for today: love for design, aesthetics and service - exemplified by the management and passionately implemented by a dedicated team. Innovative ideas such as the Rooftop Bar have set a new standard in the urban hotel landscape.
The AMANO Group is a Berlin-based hotel company that currently owns eleven hotels, including eight in Berlin, one in Düsseldorf, one in Munich and one in London. The hotel project in Leipzig is under construction, and three more hotels are planned in Hamburg and Munich. Founded in 2009 by the Süsskind, Schiff and Rokeach families, the AMANO Group aims to design hotels that are integrated into the cultural life of a city. Therefore, all hotels follow a standard concept of offering sophisticated urban living in a central location at a fair price. This includes interior design and a level of service that far exceeds the three-star standard. With trend-setting gastronomy concepts such as restaurants, bars and a club as well as several rooftop terraces, the AMANO Group creates a lively exchange between the city and the hotel.
